Abstract

Education is part of our culture, shaping our society and our personalities. The degree and level of civilization

and our values are reflected in the way in which education is achieved. Both crime and education are equally

old. However, human history has proven that education can simultaneously be a criminogenic factor and

an effective mechanism used in the prevention of and the fight against crime.
